For over half a century, Sonatech has provided extremely reliable, high-performance acoustic products and technical services to meet the demanding specifications of the Department of Defense (DoD) as well as prime contractors, government agencies, academic institutions and commercial customers. Our ability to rapidly execute and consistently deliver value for our customers is what sets us apart and is demonstrated by our long-lasting success.
In March 2017, three longtime Sonatech employees purchased the company from the parent corporation. Starting with 24 employees, we’ve been steadily expanding the technical, manufacturing and administrative teams to support new business opportunities. We are now a stable and growing company of over 100 employees, continuing to meet the needs of longtime existing programs and new customers alike.

Sonatech is located on the central coast of California in Santa Barbara, approximately 100 miles northwest of Los Angeles.
Our offices are minutes away from the Santa Barbara airport, UCSB, sandy beaches, and vibrant downtown Santa Barbara.

Take I-405 north to US-101.
Take US-101 N to CA-217 W, exit 104B for ‘Airport/UCSB’.
Take Exit 2 for Hollister, on right.
Turn left onto Hollister and make first right onto Ward Drive.
From San Francisco:
Take US-101 south to CA-217 W, exit 104B for ‘Airport/UCSB’.
Take Exit 2 for Hollister, on right.
Turn left onto Hollister and make first right onto Ward Drive.
Sonatech is located on the right (west) side of the street at Ward Tech Group. Use the second driveway.
